i have a lenovo t43 notebook. i have no sound. i have already checked the volume level and it is not muted. ?
how do i troubleshoot the sound cards or whatever else i need to troubleshoot to determine why there is no sound.
try playing a song in media player and if the song looks like its playing but you don’t get sound, go into your control panel and Sound and Audio devices and check if you don’t have it on 5.1 when your sound should be on stereo, double check all the options and test your sound, the problem should come up and is probably something minor. If the song doesn’t play and you get an error message then copy down that error message word for word and google it, chances are somebody has had the same problem and has found a solution online already.
