Macintosh Help?

I’m trying to clone a Powerbook G4 over to a new MacBook Pro. I cloned it once, using the new user startup feature on the MacBook, but something didn’t go right, and I need to re-clone it. I used Disk Utility to erase the MacBook, but I accidentally cleared the whole hard drive, to the point that it doesn’t even have OSX on it anymore. When I tried to put OSX on it again, it says that the hard drive on the MacBook Pro cannot be used as a startup disk. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this work?

Thanks for your help. :]
I deleted the hard drive off of my Macbook.

when you are re-installing the os, you get a chance to re-format the disk, and install. That should do it!

Realize that few people have had to run thru this, and even fewer have had to do it enough times to give you a keystroke by keystroke method. But the code is there for people who wish to clean their computer out completely.
