I have an old Compaq notebook. Its battery is dead, but it works with AC. Should I remove the battery?
I’m not going to replace it, since now I have a newer HP notebook, but I don’t want the old battery to leak or mess it up. It can’t be charged anymore, but the computer still works fine plugged in. Will it still work plugged in without the old battery inside?
It will work without the battery and it may leak if being charged….
