If I have an anti-reflection screen and a privacy screen for my laptop LCD, which do I put on first?
which goes on first and which goes on over it or does it make a difference?
The privacy screen should go on first, then the anti-reflection screen last as that will produce the best results for the anti-reflection function as it will be the first line against reflections, otherwise the privacy screen may produce reflections, but, it is totally dependent on if the privacy screen has a smooth enough top surface for the anti-reflection screen to adhere to properly.
If the privacy screen’s outer surface is not smooth, then the anti-reflection screen will not adhere properly, so you would need to attach the anti-reflection screen first, then the privacy screen. Of course this is all based on the fact that the privacy screen will produce a reflection that will be a distraction. If the privacy screen does not have a reflective surface and does not produce a reflection that is bothersome, then I would just use the privacy screen without the anti-reflection screen as the privacy screen is then doing both jobs and the anti-reflection screen would not be of any benefit.
Best of luck.
