Gateway Notebook Question M-6816?
Hello, I just bought a Gateway M-6816 Notebook at Best Buy for $799, on sale from $949. Is this a good deal? It has 2 GB Memory, 160 GB Hard Drive, etc, etc. I kind of know the computer world, however I always second guess myself and get caught up in all of the reviews. I know that there are a lot of Gateway haters out there, but looking for some feedback to whether this is a decent notebook and a good buy (I am trying to stay in the $800-$900 range, and this is the best deal I have seen with so many options). Yes this is a very good deal. The only problem with purchasing a computer like this is that the computer cannot be upgraded in the future. What I mean is that this computer achieves its speed and power by having a large amount of ram with a decent processor. In the future if you wanted to upgrade the speed of the computer you couldnt because the RAM is already maxed out and the processor cannot be upgraded.
