How to choose laptop ?
I am planning to buy a laptop computer for my husband but I don’t really have knowledge 
He is in the military and he will going to deploy. That means he mostly uses his computer on the ship and there is any internet connection on the ship.
He wants to download movies, play games (not online games), play dvds, save photos and
own videos recorded with degital cameras…etc…
my budged is less than 600bucks..
I picked 2 of laptops
1. Gateway NV 53/ 15.6″/ 4gb/ 500gb/ new $550
refurblished $470
2. Gateway ID 49/ 14″/ 4gb/ 500gb/ new $550
15.6″ refurblished $560
500GB hard drive and 4gb memory is enough to save movies???
I was also thinking about Toshiba satellite but it cost over 600bucks…
I should not get refurblished on ebay?? is it too risky??
Please give any advice and let me know what you think of those gateways…

500GB, and 4GB ram is good. Also you may want to ask what processors are in the computer. The processors basicly tell how fast your computer is. Also with laptops, buy them NEW. You never know what the previous owner did to it.
