my IBM thinkpad 600e wont boot up =[ please help me?
i have the power plugged and when i press the boot button sometimes the boot light would blink for like .5 of a second and off again and sometimes those 2 green light (battery and something else) would flash. wat can i do to make it boot up? i know the computer is old but i really want to use it please help me !
I actually have had 4 of these (and by the way, why are you using something this old… Whatever your reasons, you can get a new one of these on ebay for about 30 dolars if you really want…) I am not quite sure what this problem is in yours..One of the ones I had had the same exact problem… The motherboard in it was actually bad, so I really do think it is just junk now, sorry to say… You could buy another one, and swap out the battery, hard drive, and if necessary, CD drive into it, and it would take care of your problem, if you really want… I would actually suggest buying a newer laptop, though… Your call, since to fix the one you have, would be more than it would cost to buy another one of this model on eBay, and swap out the parts into the one you buy…
