Hi, can someone please help me? I have an acer laptop with hdmi port and maxent tv with hdmi port. I have hdmi?
cable connected to both. I am trying to connect my laptop to my tv…When I go through the input on the tv nothing comes on the screen. So my question is how do I get it to work? Someone told me that you have to change the settings on the laptop…but I tried to figure it out but nothing works. Can someone please tell me how to make it work? Thank You in advance! Hold down the Fn key and look for a picture of a screen on one of the F1, F2, F3 buttons (on my ASUS it’s the F8, on my Compaq it’s F4, its different for each brand). Press the button while holding the Fn key down and you should be able to cycle through your available video out options, just keep trying till you see the image on your TV.
