is a laptop with 2.2Ghz, 1MB Cache, fast? 4gb memory, 1tb hard drive, i want a great laptop, is this the one?
being a dj aswell, i will use this laptop for the disco & karaoke side, just hoping im getting the right one.
So, without knowing whether or not this laptop will work with the software you are going to use… you want to know if it is fast?
Fast is relative. Sure, that laptop is fast compared to… say a single core 1.6ghz netbook. However it is not as fast as my dual core 3.2ghz work desktop…. nor as fast as my 3.33ghz laptop. See? Fast is relative.
So, what you need to do, is find out the SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS of the software you want to use. Don’t say DJ software… that means nothing. Are you planning on using Virtual DJ? Do you have an older copy of AtomixMP3 around that you are planning on using? Be specific, then research the system requirements. If those requirements are far below the specs on that laptop… then it might indeed be “fast”. If however, you find that the requirements are above that laptop specs, you will notice that the laptop is very “slow”.
When looking for a comparison, provide something to compare it to.
